Acergy to work on three Exxon Mobil platforms off Nigeria

LONDON: Acergy S.A. (NASDAQ-GS: ACGY) (OSE: ACY) has been award of a US$190 million contract from Exxon Mobil Corp. affiliate MOBIL Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPN) to revamp three wellhead platforms offshore Nigeria in water depths of up to 115 feet (35 m). The contract includes an option, exercisable by MPN, for up to five further platforms.

Engineering and offshore work will commence immediately, using derrick lay barge Acergy Orion. Engineering support will be provided in Nigeria by Global Oceon Engineers Nigeria Ltd., which is Acergy's joint venture with Petrolog Engineering Services Ltd.
